I have to hand it to ya Old Boatness Whiskers. That looks beautiful. You need a raised edge along the front to keep the Captain Morgan from sliding off in a heavy sea. Pete

First of, all thanks for the comments and compliments.I haven't decided on BLINDS/CURTAINS/PHOTOCHROMATIC GLASS/or NOTHING. The edge has not escaped my eye.(SAVE THE CAPTAIN!!!!)
I ran into a little hitch,in spite of using a lot of scrap reinforcing, the doorway is screwed up at the bottom. Have to solve that problem first.

The doorway didn't screw up. It's the nut behind the wheel. Pete

The stair assembly plus some 1/16" BASSWOOD (out of sight) solves the problem of the bottom of the doorway getting out of alignment..
