Oh no Tim, it was more like trying to shift into reverse while moving forward. There was a lot of grinding and smoke but it slowly started to move at last....It is not a good time to be working in a garage in Texas right now. It is HOT in there by 8am. It is good to be back inside working in my shop. The Hacker work will be very early in the morning or late in the evening.

Where Grav lives, a storm cellar is the first place to fill up. " High ground" for him is considered to be about 200' MSL and that's 100 Mi.away.

Yes water is the big problem here on Galveston Bay. In a few days the official start of hurricane season for 2013. I hope we will be spared but you always know your number will come up sooner or later. It has been 5 years since IKE and there are still a couple of FEMA trailers in the neighborhood. The city is taking down some of the last of the condemned houses right now. Good luck to all the folks that live on the coasts.

Gravman I know what your're talking about. Just up the road ( a bit ) in LA and hold my breath every Hurricane Season. Got a new roof after Gustave, and fence, and Sheetrock too. Yep no fun. But I'll take.Hurricanes most days over the surprise of a tornado. At least we get a few days (maybe hours) to get ready.
