man the fact that you would even worry about having a release handle on a torpedo rack that size is simply mind boggling!

I know this has been like watching paint dry and everyone is probably pretty tired of seeing these launch racks day after day. We are getting to the end though

You must be kidding, its the highlight of my day when I sign in to the net and flick straight to 'my favorites' then with bated breath click on the last page to see what else you have done. your work sets me to thinking and dreaming.. I even made a special trip to the tools section at our local Mitre 10 and found a Dremel tool....$NZ 158.00 so seriously thinking about that at the moment. You are an inspiration so the more detail and photos the better!!!

Greg, not sure what the exchange rate for NZ is right now but Dremel tools are as little as $39 US here. Having said that once you buy one it will always be in your workshop and you will find about 9 million things to do with it (have had one for 10 years and I may loose everything else on my work bench but I always know where the Dremel is!). If you going to do anything with plastic with it get a variable speed one (or buy and after market speed controller), too high a speed will not cut the plastic just melt its way through.

Hi Fooman
I feel as if I am hijacking this thread but after reading your post I went back down to Mitre 10 and had another look. they have 2 tools from Dremel, a 300 series and a 3000 series, each with a heap of (the same) accessories with the 3000 having a quick uncoupler. The 3000 is $NZ 149.00. the price for here seems about right because the importer @ http://www.testntools.co.nz/dremel-t...FShxQgodVxcAAQ has them around the same price. The other option is the Fuller set at $NZ 98.00 also with a heap of accesories. Shipping and import duties I guess :-(

$NZ 148. Works out to about $US 123..The 3000 series sells(in USA) for just under $US 80 or about $NZ 96 Not a bad investment for an invaluable tool. Of course, it is more due to duties, ship, etc.
Depending on your other interests, and how much you intend to use it,you may consider the 4000 series. The 4000 series can use more attachments. The bottom of the line 100 series sells for about $US 35.

Kmot I am glad you get that I was trying to inject a laugh into this. I know how easy it is to get carried away.

We have noticed!!!
But from our side it is soooo easy to be blown away by your attention to detail.
Impressive.
Are you going to turn those eye bolt wings up or leave them flat?

You are right they are not correct in the flat shape. They should be round in the arms and ball grips at the ends. I debated about adding them as they so small. I will see if I can come up with something to make them look a little better.
