I've used the refills before but the problem that I ran into was that if you weren't on the refill asap, like within hours of going MT the delivery system of the MT cartridge dried up and no amount of coaxing would bring it back to life.
I may try having a refill right next to the printer so I can do the refill asap. Maybe it would work then.

I use an Epson inkjet, but I can say that the refill kit works fine.

OTOH, I don't use the inkjet printer for plans - I picked up an old (can you say "trash" ;-)) dot matrix printer and set that up for my print-outs. On the plus side, I can trick the software to let me print long strips, and if I can keep all the parts on one sheet, there is no overlap to worry about. On negative side, it takes a long time to print out large plans, I had to add an A/B switch to allow choosing between the two printers, and I have to remember what printer I'm using when I hit "Print".

Same problem as Mark. I would refill it as soon as it ran out.
It would print maybe 10 pages then nothing. I can hear the
ink sloshing around inside the cartridge (#15) but could not
get it to start printing again. Soaked the heads in warm water
and still nothing.

I've had the ink jets on one cartridge clog up after I let it run out and dry up. I solved that by giving them a squirt now and then (both my color cartridge and my black one) I don't let them ever run out.

I was kinda hoping it wasn't just me.
