Quad Copter - Xconfig w/ HK V3.0 Board
Taking my 1st whack at a quadcopter. Have it completely built. Tested all motors for direction, calibrated ESC's per HK recommendations, and do hear correction with out the props.
After adding props and testing (very carefully), while holding in my hand, from the rear of the copter, on my 1st power up with the props, it tried to, very severely, flip over to the right.
Using a Futaba 7c transmitter, Throttle is reversed and all else is normal. All trims on the xmitter are at neutral.
Any suggestions as to where to start to diagnose the problem?
Thanks Dave / Gordon,
I'll give it a try. I guess what didn't lead me to that was if it was correcting, it was correcting severly to the right. I was holding it relatively level and sticks / trim was neutral.
Not hard to reverse. I'll try that tonight.
