Any word from GAD? From what I recall with their designs there is a fair bit of shaping and profiling to be done during building, will any of the damaged areas end up as waste during this process? What about light weight spackle like Red Devil, this will fill a lot of the damaged areas for very little weight gain. Were you planning on covering it after building?

Jeff, I got one of the early GAD Lancs and I messed up the build, totally my fault. Mike Black, owner of Greenair, sent me replacement parts, no charge. Mike is really a stand up guy, give him time to get back to you.

I know it's a big disappointment, although the airframe could most likely be salvaged, it's not what you expect from a kit. I think I would fill the cracks with white gorilla glue, seal it in with masking tape and you would have a strong, easily sandable piece.

Regards,
Jeff

Gorrilla Glue is (as far as I can tell) just a brand name polyurethane glue. There are a number of PU glues available here, Bunnings sell a Sikabond PU glue and there is also a variety of Selley's Aquadhere (Durabond IIRC) that is a polyurethane glue.
