For one hour per day, but it is located approx. 3km from the hall.

Alternatively you can chose a hotel with free Wi-Fi (WLAN in German), like the Best Western for example.

We are staying in the Hotel Gasthof Löhnert, they have free wireless LAN

I just figure there will be a lot of time at the hall, so wifi would have been nice to pass the time. You can only watch other guys fly the sequence so many times.

Going to be hard on the judges, but at least they are not sitting out in the hot sun all day

Well, they have much less flights to judge per day than the judges at the German Indoor Aerobatics Championship or the IITOP.

The first training day is over and the Finnish team gave a short report in our own model airplane forum. They each got four rounds of practice in somewhat difficult conditions. Apparently the air conditioning was not completely off or there was some draft through open doors.

There's some very nice pictures here:

Edit: I heard that the draft problem has been fixed so the conditions should be good and equal to all pilots.

Hi Donatas,

I see your Dad is there too. I will bring a little souvenir for him.

I am planning to arrive in Coburg late morning on Wednesday, because that is the last chance to see at least one flight of every competitor.

I am looking forward to seeing many new faces, and meet up with even more old friends.

Can anyone tell me a bit about the airplane that Tetsuo Onda is flying? Looking at a few pictures of his team mates' airplanes it looks like it might be EPP construction.
