He's suppose to be sending me an email with bearing size. I talked to him this morning he and his wife are traveling up to see Mitch in IL today. I'll put up the info for everyone to see when I get it.

I just decided to post it for all to see Trek. Just easier. The bearing size is 2 x 5mm you need two. One for each side.

Ah forgot, cost is around 4 bucks for the two bearings. Just go with cheap no need for anything high dollar. Mine aren't........

What are they charging you? If it was me I would do it myself it can't be hard. Buy your bearings and press them in.

Thats Right!
Finished putting my bearings in a minute ago. Don't see a huge difference but I suppose it works better. For my seven dollars worth of bearings I guess it was worth it?

Like I said not a huge difference. If anything it took care of the steering play I had in the linkage. I haven't much time to drive it to really tell you the end result.

Did mine in about 20 minutes. You do need to drill the hole large for the flanged bearing to fit. I also had to use bearing shims. Don't know about yours Jeff but I can tell a difference.

I decided to go through this so called bearing installation on my steering linkage. My thoughts? Its functional but don't see the need really. The plastic TERC uses won't wear nor break unless your using oil on the steering mount. Speaking of the mount? Nobody mentioned you must cut the mount in half otherwise the bearing won't fit on top of it.
