seaking 180a esc questions

ive had this seaking esc for almost 2 years now, never ran it.
im assuming its the old model.
i have the programer for it....dont know how to use it....lol.
i was told it can run any motor i can buy for anything rc,or 2 mild motors no problem.

does anyone know how to run a brushed motor from it?
is it waterproof.
any info you guys have would be nice.

You can't run a brushed motor with any esc designed for a brushless motor .

What kind of brushed motor were you planning that was equiv. to a 540 brushless?

no equivalent (im sure i spelled that wrong....lol)....just a 15-20 t brushed motor....nothing hot or modded.
i just like the features of the seaking water cooled, high amp supply....ect.
the p.o. of the seaking says i can run brushed, thats why he supplied the programer with it.

The only ESC that can handle brushed and brushless motors that I'm aware of is the Genius series from Graupner:

If all you need is forward, HK has two suitable ESC's very cheap.

A 540 brushless will be much more powerful than a 540 brushed. You might even want to consider running something around a 380 can motor.
