Second one doesn't work... I'm comparing it to a mojo 65 which I've heard is a great combo, the u can do is lighter and about the same size so I would think it would work great

The DLE 20 would be twice the engine recommended. As the U CAN DO is a 3D type airplane and subject to flutter at high speeds I wouldn't do it

Does it have to go fast with a dle20 on the nose.

I also want this plane and wonders about the dle gasser would it be faster then a 91 2 stroke?

The standard prop for a DLE-20 is a 17X6. The DLE-20 has about the same power as a OS 120AX.

Fuel: 87 octane with 27-28:1 Stihl HP non-synthetic oil
Prop: Xoar 17x6
Tach: 8,350 rpm
Static thrust: 13lbs 11oz

Does it have to go fast with a DLE 20...no not if you can keep the throttle down...but if you get excited and add too much power...then you may have a problem...or you can set the throttle to not open all the way...a de rate so to speak...but if you do that then why put on a DLE 20?
The only airplane I saw come apart in the air was a U CAN DO..there was a buzz that happened so fast you could not react and then there was a ball of confetti and a wing tumbling down...this happened at the bottom of a loop or hammer head.
I have read on here that the U CAN DO does not like speed and is prone to flutter
Good Luck

Well wouldn't be competing for speed on it, correct me if I'm wrong but most 3d places tend to flutter at high speed...

I'm also looking at this plane

NashBro 2010, EE60 with a DLE 20cc, 3D RC Airplane (10 min 25 sec)

Flutter leads to airframe failure so fast at times it's over befor it began...do all 3D planes flutter at high speed ...no.....flutter will be heard not seen, a buzz sound..if the pilot does not react quickly the airplane can self destruct

I think I'm going to go with a profile... Easier on the engine and better for 3d
