Hi Alex
Is this serious ![]() Has nobody else shown any interest in your App, nor given you some feedback since you put it on the net? Are there no iPad users amongst the people on RCGroup ![]() Ok, I just downloaded Plane Commander and started playing with it. I think it is a fantastic idea! Up to now I was using Goodreader to store all the Info relating to my models. But having it all at hand in one App, what can I say but great! I will now start using it and will give some feedback as it comes along. In the meantime thanx a lot ![]() |

Alex, here my first user feedback
![]() Status category: It would be nice to have categories for the models, such as Projects/Flying/Archive. This way you can look at the category which you are interested in, e.g. spend a few tears on long gone models or look forward to some project. Weight units: a lot of people are using the metric system and also having the choice for kg or g would be nice. Keep up the good work, and thanks! |

Yep, me again
![]() Not too much activity on this thread... Been using PC for a while now, and despite its limitations, find it a very convenient App (well, kinda App). Installed FM12 on my trusty MacBook Pro, then transferred PC to it. It then greatly speeds up and facilitates entries. Transferred back to the iPad, PC has now grown to a quite impressive 1,358,090,240 bytes (1.36 GB on disk) ![]() Ok, that is including some build videos, loads of manuals, etc, for 25 flying objects. So its all good for now ![]() |

This looks to be a pretty cool app. Any chance there will be one for us Android users?

Sorry I have not been on for a while… Deecee its wonderful that you actually got plane commander onto your PC.
![]() Also Bluemax unfortunately there is a high chance that this app will never migrate to the android… we are profound apple shop here… and i am having more people ask me for a metric version. ![]() Oddly all these people asking from metric come from switzerland or australia ![]() Alex Carlton, [email protected] www.planecommander.com |

Metieval, no specialist here, but I think the difference is in the way of customizing.
I mean that you can download the paid version to the iPad, from there to your main (desktop or MacBook Pro in my case) computer, and then use FileMaker Pro to add/remove fields, modify layouts etc. The free version is locked, which means you can only enter data into the fixed frames. ![]() |

Okay,
Thank you DeeCee that is exactly the difference. rcrich I am sorry but the Ipad can barley hold all the information without looking super cluttered and will most likely never offered below the Ipad. PlaneCommander started as a free app with a donate button, but that really didn't work out so we are offering the unlocked version for same price as the donation ![]() Of course all you guys that don't care whether or not its unlocked can get the free one. Slight error,
The PlaneCommander website is broken so you pay us then you can not get the download. We will fix this, also reviewing DeeCee's comment I just wanted to add that Filemaker Pro will work on Windows. Alex Carlton, [email protected] www.planecommander.com |
