I agree. If the V70 held it's wings held on with rubber bands and the motor was a grafted on outside pod, I wouldn't give it a second look, barely a first look. That thing from HobbyLobby is hideous. It had to have been a joke - like the owner's kindergarten kid did it as a show and tell project. If I wanted an EDF glider that bad, I would have taken the pods off an A-10 Warthog and bungeed them onto my Radian sailplane.

Sort of like the syncro as well, just a pod on top compared to a built in, purpose built EDF with a slippery looking set up. Looking forward to reviews from outside sources. No offense but putting a plane in the hands of someone who has learned all of it's ups and downs compared to your typical flier might be different results.

That plane from Hobby-Lobby is about 8 years old and at the time there were few EDF's on the market but, I expect the same performance.

Thanks. That's a shame when all the batteries in that size range come with HXT connectors so either means soldering or using an adaptor.

I either convert all my models and batteries to one type of connector - EC3 in my case, or I use an adapter. That's become common practice for me now. Trying to match the connectors on the batteries you already have with the plane you would like to buy will drive you insane. I just don't bother. Buy what you want and deal with it when you get them.
