That's great to hear and a very nice touch, I must say. Thermal control of the mems sensors can avoid drift issues later in the flight.

I might consider putting this gyro on my Align 550E. I like what I'm seeing so far.

If anyone who has received theirs already, can run the gyro on the bench, I'd be very interested to know what leds are lit at switch on, and if D is the last option in the parameter menu.

ok here are a couple I hooked it to a HK450 Im working on.
when you plug it in it goes threw all the LED's flashing them
after it has stopped you only have one LED lite on.
after holding the button for a couple seconds it gives you a ALF LED as seen for A-D here after you set it for FBL it well go threw them all one at a time.
OH Yes it programs Just like Microbeast.

OK, thanks. So the v1 manual is the best one to use. I realized this also, because the Setup menu only has 4 options for each letter, whereas v2 and v3 have 6.

To enter the Setup menu press and hold the button for 3 seconds until led A is constantly on. To enter the parameter menu press the button briefly and release it. The led A will flash.

If the settings are so similar, should we call it a beastX clone now?

I'll be interested to know if it is a V1 Beastx clone - my V1 always had a problem doing FF piros, fixed in V2 or V3.

Any news on price yet?

WARNING: to all you test pilots. DO NOT update the gyro with the microbeast usb updater. It will BRICK your fbl gyro. Ask me how I know
