Georgia Cracker looks a little like the Astro Hog.

Yeah. Like Aeromeddler said, the 'clean up' can only work on whatever detail there is to start with. Which comes down to the resolution of the scan. Or of course even with a perfect scan process, underneath that is the quality of the actual print on the paper, to start with. If you blow up and enlarge any raster image far enough.. it's just blocky.

I always loved that bit in Bladerunner where Harrison Ford is talking to his fancy futuristic home PC and he gets it to zoom in and enhance this crime scene photo... so in the end he can see stuff that just wasn't there at the start. Me, I reckon it doesn't matter how fancy your kit it. If stuff ain't there, it just ain't there.

The Georgia Cracker is a nice design though. Maybe you should holler (nicely) at SrFalcon and ask him if he could scan it again at a higher resolution?

Maybe that's why I like it. Thanks Starcad, don't know how I missed the tutorials section! Guess I was too busy looking for plans.

Basic trainer

This example taken from a 1/4 page sized plan in the pre 1963 print.
Scan made at 600 initially, then reduced to fit here.

Does anyone have a flying flag, flying carpet or flying lawnmower.
I remember a local club flew them in a airshow when I was kid.
I was curious what airfoil shape they used. They flew pretty good. I was seeing if the airfoils they used could help this project:

I've seen the flying lawn mower and thought it flew best.

Thanks

There was a Magic Flying Carpet (as in Arabian Nights) years ago in the Aeromodeller. This was all-sheet with the 'aerofoil' being a flattened s-shape, like: ~

There was no thickness to the aerofoil except for the thickness of the balsa sheet. The leading edge gave a convenient downthrust for the motor!

RC,

Flat works very well too, like a flying stop sign, 2 elevons and throttle. It will high alpa very slow, and zip along nice at WOT if you have enough power! Think Delta......

I have it, give me a couple of hours and I'll post it here. Or give me your email and I'll send it as an attachment. Or if you are not in a hurry, let me stitch the two parts but I need at least a day or two.

Regards,

Eduardo

Q.B.10H.

Type Model RC Sport.
Wingspan 39in.Highwing.
Engine glow O.S Max .10
Control 3 channels.
Designer Y. Matsumoto.
Company Pilot 1978.

I thought it was a sin to such a beautiful airplane to plan because the repairer not previously had an unfortunate meeting with the fuel.
So I took the big decision to spend some time more for this job.
Enjoy it with me all of you.
Believe it was worth the effort and time with him.

Thanks Elija, I had one of these many years ago, time to build another one, good fun and cheap on fuel!
