New Product

Stork X

New X-tail Stork has already been maidened. How does it fly? Flight characteristics are just amazing. Modified fuselage with all flying stab and big rudder - these issues contribute to the improvement which was made. F5J friendly electro fuse coming soon.

Nice glider, great scenery!

How much the Stork weighs as a x-tail?

Standard full-strength F3J version is about 2000 grams. I´ll tell you the weight of a lighter version when I get one.
The penetration compared to older V-tail version (where the tail was too thick and massive) meems to be improved.

Thanks Marko. That full-strength weigh sounds ok. Shall we see it action at Korona Kup? See you there!

Looking at the rudder/elevator... I can see the trend

Is rudder removable (like in Prestige)? How long is the fuselage (boxes getting larger...)?

It will be ready already for Holic cup 5-6th May. OK then, see you there in Hungary.

Yes, I am sure the arguments for this trend have its internal logical consistence.
Rudder is removable but not like Prestige Fuse is 170 cm long with rudder detached (centre part of the wing is 172 cm !).

Marko the wing looks different. I have the lightweight tips which appear to have carbon
capping whereas your photo shows different material, certainly not carbon. Is there a difference? It can't be as stiff.

The wing comes from the same moulds but the versions differ by what is put inside.
Do not worry about stiffness - I do not remember when was the last time some Stork (If any) exploded on hard wind F3J tow due to material weakness.
You will not see the difference between F3J and F5J centre part from outside so let´s talk about tips. F3J wing tips are as you see in the picture at the beginning of this thread. That black material in D-box and in aileron is carbon fibre. To compare it with Electro wing tip see the picture attached.

Looking forward to the electro version Marco, any estimated timescale? It would make a good addition to my 'muster' of storks

Thank you Marko. Is the span the same as the
older Stork 4 ?
Presume it uses the heavier F3J centre panel?

Yes, it is, the molds for the wing are the same so full compatibility is guaranted.
Right, F3J centre part of the wing is 55 g heavier than its E- version.
