Any whispers about any of the new receivers coming out to accompany the new transmitters?

It will add considerably to the cost you all get to pay for the radio due to shipping costs and warranty costs. Create issues for supplying a charger that most of us do not want/need. Create possible liability issues and a whole new level of warning instructions/labels that would need to be included with each radio.

From a manufacturers point of view I hope you all, and hope FrSky has taken these issues into consideration.

You can all add lipo to the radio yourself. If you are like me, I already have several in existing radios that should drop right in.

Are you willing to pay an additional $25 (or more) for the radio to have it come equipped with a $5 lithium based battery?

I think I have to agree with Wayne here. I already have the necessary charger for lipo. In fact, leave the battery out!

As far as I know, any battery that uses lithium is on the list. I think USPS is supposed to review their ban in a few months.

Looks like after January we will be able to ship Lithium batteries when they are in equipment that is being shipped. (As long as the battery is less than 5 Kg.) However it does require special labeling. Not the end of the world.

The new rules look pretty reasonable.

also if someone want to use a better antenna por longer range at 2,4 ghz needs to hack the radio? thats not as comfortable,

OSRC did it right there,
Heh I do the mod on all my radios. It's MUCH better for transportation (antenna always break otherwise, unless you've a huge and bulky metal case.. and you can use a better antenna, etc.

Having it stock without having to slice stuff and glue your way around is certainly a plus.
