Fly it like you're in it

...And are still used today (in the case of spirals) on the spinners of commercial jets, for the awareness and safety of ground personnel, with the possible bonus of reduced bird stikes ("wobbily eyes" seem to be more effective for that purpose)

Here's some spiral action for you - I try not to look at it for too long ;-)

Took her up this morning just to have a break from the 109's landing gear shenanigans. The difference between these two planes really is like night and day - so uncanny that their characteristics I bought across so well in model form as well?

Do any of you 109 guys also fly the mighty one-ninety?

That’s a nice looking plane. I wonder why fms discontinued it.

Yeah she does look quite nice!

I think maybe its very slow airspeed on 4S had something to do with it perhaps? I found that mine, before the 5S conversion and then 2 blade conversion, wasn't even able to do basic acrobatics on the 4S...and if it did, it looked quite cumbersome and dodgy :/

Or maybe it was just down to sales numbers? I think most people know the BF109 more so than the FW190 too?

Here's some spam of my 190 with a fire lit under its butt ;-) This was with just the 5S upgrade but not the 2 blade prop conversion...

I most certainly DO.!!
I throw in the Stuka here and there as well... But, Stuka doesn't like the wind where these two are fine with it..!!

Hahaha, admittedly I do manhandle the 190 a little! The propulsion upgrades have turned into a bit of a aerobatics plane / racer
