WOW! This is it! Looks like it has everything: brushless, shaft driven tail, carbon main shaft (I hope). I was going to get the 300x but now, I will wait on this one!!!

The tail drive looks like the same used on the Walkera 4G6. I hope the little pinion gear doesn't strip out as easily.

Looking at the photos, it appears that the drive gear for the tail is separate from the main gear unlike the Walkera. There is another ring gear up higher that drives the tail shaft. This will probably be the only weak spot in an otherwise perfect heli.

Main rotor diameter is approx. 3 inches bigger compared to the MCPX.

They don't look like the same servos on the MCPX. Hopefully they are faster.

WOW!

Blade comes out with something that Walkera basically debuted more than a year ago ...

... that really IS an achievement

sort of agree, and i highly doubt it will outperform the v120. but i really wouldn't mind giving horizion a shot, but they are far behind and release a heli like every 3 years.. i would like to see them seriously compete with walkera.

go "balls to the wall" stop using these outboard linear servos and put a outrunner not inrunner.. right now i would much rather buy another 120D02S that cost $170 than this.

edit: another discussion thread.

Since they are likely to have the V120D02S in their lab for some time, there better be some improvements. I suspect it will be more powerful than the V120D02S and its FBL system more capable of advance 3D. I would be interested to see the price list for parts. I think my LHS will be wary of carrying it over here because of the price.

It is pricey as compare to V120D02s. Only $100 difference, I may think about 300X instead and keep V120D02s.

As impressed as I am with the 130X.....My $$ is still on the 300X...
About the same price.....and the 300X has a belt-driven tail....
The 130X's gear tail is a deal-breaker for ME.....a potential "Achilles Heel"..
For me, a belt-driven tail is much more forgiving.....
It'll be interesting to see which comes out in "Mid-June 2012" FIRST...
The 130X...or 300X.....!!

Does this thing cost as much as a Trex 250 flybarless?

Also, the BeastX seems to have something called Piro Compensation, where the swash will correct for yaw movement. The 300X has BeastX.

The AS3X in the mCPx does *not* seem to have this Piro Compensation (or does it?)

So, will this 130x have piro comp? It's using the AS3X instead of BeastX. The BeastX alone could be worth the extra $100(?)

Is it going to be too fragile in the tail gears?

It has brushless (mCPx brushed), but wouldn't some cost be saved by using a brushless tail instead of gear driven?

Looks like it flys great....how does it crash?
