I just ordered an 8800kv motor with a 10t pinion. Hope this is a good match. May have to lower the throttle curve a bit huh?

I just upgraded my V120D02S to a 2S with CC10 and HP08S 8000KV. With the 10 tooth I measure 5450 RPM. I still need to setup the Governor but got board with that project for now. My 130X arrived yesterday. So that's holding my interest for now. Well built solid heli compaired to WK. Spyro prepared me for it's arrival. I've got the silicone o rings installed and spent time with the scotch tape. Tail vib is still present but now is gone above 25% throttle. Better than it was. Still watching video's on the topic. I swapped to WK tail flange bearings, no change. Metal A gear is in and c gear well seated. The tail being plastic didn't last long. Landed hard on carpet and cracked it. Had 45+ MPH winds today and this guy likes to run in a small living room. For now I have a V120 CF tail installed. The tail box also isn't to resuliant for holding a fin on, in plastic, with a machine screw. Have a Micoheli box coming with a CF fin. Expect it will be a better mount with the aluminum treads instead of plastic.

While you are in programming mode is there any feed back with the LED's to let you know where your'e at with your aileron stick movements? Doesn't look so. I've got a tail twitch I'm working on but already at -6 or so. May need to go after A/E gain next because it's starting to look like a body twitch.

Yes. Red is elevator, Green is aileron and Blue is rudder. When the lights are solid, you are at "center" or the zero position. You cycle through the channels with up/down elevator and right aileron raises the gain while left aileron lowers it. You can go 10 points up (gain higher) or down (gain lower) from there. Each time you move the stick to go up a point, the light for that respective channel starts blinking faster and vice versa for when you move the stick down a point. It's kind of difficult/imprecise judge how many points you are from center solely by looking at the flashing lights, so I just count the steps up or down. If you get lost, bump the stick back to center until you get a solid light and start over. All three channels work exactly the same way.
