I have one of those Migs, Midget Indian Girls and she is fantastic!

My I suggest you go to the Mig Threads for opinions on it? This 130X Thread stays OT way to much IMO.

I want one of those tail case so bad but I cant spend the money until after vacation in two weeks and by then they'll be out of stock. Anyway I came up with a mod of putting 2 blade grip bearings from an old mcpx in the back side by the shaft retainer. it removed all the slop from that end.

Mine been flying great, I'm using nano-tech 460mah with an adapter. I got them HK's US warehouse for 4.44

By the time this thing is all blinged out, it will be a $500 heli. I'm waiting on the aluminum main blade grips, I've had the ball break off a couple of times. Other than that, I have a metal tail slider from a 4G6. I haven't had any problem with the swash like the MCPX. But I will probably order a metal swash when it comes out.

Hallelujah! But I am going to wait and see how it works for others before I buy. Been waiting for this one.

Same here. I haven't had any problems with those particular stock parts except for the stock bearings, which I already replaced.

Just ordered the Rakonheli pitch slider, it comes in heavier than stock, .42 opposed to .29 but the weight should hopefully be negligible.

A titanium pitch slider from MH would have been cool, but aluminuim on such a light frame should be fine, and until MH parts are more readily available here, you will probably pay more due to shipping.

The slider from Rakonheli cost me $14.99 plus $5.00 shipping, not bad.

Looks like the Rakon tail grips are weighted and the MicroHeli grips are not.

Yeah, you are right. Like chinese weights and now I don't know which one would be better. My first response would be the Rakon to help with the vibrations but I am definitely going to wait see now how others are faring with the two offerings. I am really glad to see all this happening even though it's going to hurt the pocket book but if it really make this bird hum, why not? I am sure that Rakon will be offering a metal tail box any day also. I also would like to see some true tail shafts being offered by these companies because I believe that and the tail box being out of square is the major source of the vibration problems on this little bird. Get that solved and I will buy another one.

Personally, I'd be concerned about adding any more weight, no matter how small, to that tail hub. Those are some tiny, tiny screws holding the grips on and there are already reports of those being thrown in flight.

Have there been any reports of the actual tail box being out of square and causing problems? I haven't seen any.

As Charles suggested - drop by the MiG owner's thread & ask us how we like it.

I measured mine and it is .15 out of square. Not a lot but I think it can be improved on.

What do you think of this http://www.microheli.com/store/produ...roducts_id/827 versus the solid carbon shaft?
