www.circular-wireless.com: home of the 100/200Km world range record antennas

Since I started in the FPV, my obsession was to improve the quality of the video signal. The immersion feeling was lost due to the momentary signal cuts, the electrical power noise, interferences from outside, and generally anything that will remind you that you were not inside the plane, but watching an image transmitted through a weak wireless link.

Among these improvements, it was clear that antennas were the key. In the same way that the best audio player in the world with a professional amplifier, is totally useless if you connect it to a low-end speakers, having a last-generation camera with the best technology of wireless video transmission, is also useless if the antennas do not have the right quality.

So, starting to develop and build my own antennas brought me to meet the team that today forms Circular Wireless: a group of Telecommunications Engineers, which brings together the passion for model airplanes and FPV, advanced knowledge of antenna design, and experience in professional production resources and laboratory testing.

We believe there is a long way to go, and our mission is to reinvest in new products development, that will enable FPV experience to become increasingly satisfactory for a growing number of pilots.

Just as a starting point, we are offering a short range of products through our website www.circular-wireless.com:

Thank you very much for your support and Happy Flights!

Big thank you, guipedroso.

We have now fixed the language issues detected during the ckeckout procedure. I apologize for the inconveniences.

do you have 5.8 ghz antennas? All i can see is 2.4 and 1.2 band in your site.

Beautiful antennas but I do have a question about the frequency of the HELIAXIAL12

when the language is Esponal it says - Antena Helical 11dBi, 900-1700MHz
But in English is says - Helical Antenna 11dBi, 1200-1360MHz.

You are absolutely right. Fixed! Thank you.

1200-1360MHz is the bandwidth of the SoewPlanar Wheels (SPW12x).

The bandwidth of the HELIAXIAL12 is from 900 to 1700MHz.

5.8 is our biggest priority. Helical is at prototype stage now. We will definitely not produce SPWs for 5.8. We aren't able to achieve consistent results nor production efficiency. However, we are working in some new Omni-CP design, PCB based, which could scale down to 5.8 if the 2.4 final results are as good as they look now. I cannot tell more at this moment, and I cannot commit to any date yet.

Nevertheless those antennas look beautiful and high quality. I would now order a helical and a matching antenna for my 5.8 setup if they were available.

We plan to ship on Tuesday orders received until then. There is a chance that we will end up with the stock, in which case we will follow the first arrived, first shipped procedure, and try to build as fast as possible. We produced a first batch for stock, we have got the raw materials for a second batch, and raw materials for a third batch are on its way.

Your order particullary I can commit will ship on Tuesday.

I am curious about your statement that you will not make SPW for 5.8. Why is it so hard to produce? Does that mean the 5.8 SPW that others make may not be correct?

It is hard in a sense that they are much difficult to build, just because its smaller size (really small) and that they need to be fine-tuned individually, which with our construction method means throwing to the bin the bad ones.

I am 100% confident that IBCrazy's and Hugeone's 5.8GHz antennas (Cloverleaf, SPW, Turbine, etc.) work perfectly, and I admire them for having the skills and the patience to build and test them.

In fact, we just produced around 12 units of 5.8 SPWs in the beginnings, and since we decided to stop producing them, we have been redirecting to Alex & Hugo all the people who asked us about them.
