Is there a good place to find basic info?

Hi all,

I have an extra Fox .45, extra servos, and an extra receiver, so I thought about putting a SPAD together.

Is there a basics guide or something available? I've heard spadtothebone is good, but the site seems to be down.

Thanks!

Brandon

STTB is definitely the best first start.... don't know what's up with it right now. Hopefully it'll be back online soon. www.spadworld.net is the main discussion forum for SPADs. Chunky C has a great web site with a ton of plans on there including most if not all of the original plans plus a lot of good tips. ChrisSPAD has a lot of good pics on his web site and a great tutorial on designing your own SPAD. There's also a good web site in the UK slanted mostly towards combat but a lot of good plans and tips there as well. Good luck with it!

Thanks for the links! I appreciate you taking the time to put all of those in.

I agree, hopefully STTB will be back up soon! Its killing me knowing its the most thorough website and probably has pretty much everything I need, but its not up!!

Great videos, draftman. I'm watching the SPADstick one now. You did a really good job with them.

I definitely will once I get there, Jim. Not sure when that will be, though. Living in a 1-bedroom apartment makes it difficult to have larger planes!!! But we're planning on buying a house soon.

No problem Brandon! Doh! Sorry Andy, I forgot about your awesome videos. Those may be the best of all because if a picture is worth a thousand words, I don't even KNOW what video is worth! LOL

Usually around 30 pictures a second.
