Thanks for all the advice, I will try to raise the amps slightly to prob 50amps. My ESC is only 60amp continuous .

Happy to say that my turn left wing is holding up to the 5s (approx 800w). I just turn a little wider, it tracks on rails the faster I go.
I'm may make a carbon spar by cutting a 2mm slot along the wing and then pouring epoxy in it then imbed carbon tape in the slot leaving some to pertroude out to fold and make the spar into a T shape. I'm doing it this way because of the dihedral in the wing.

I wouldn't have thought that the part of the wing that has the dihedral in it would need the reinforcing. But I could be wrong.....

But you could put a rod or some square section tube in across the main part of the wing and then do as you suggest on the 2 tips. It'd just make the job a little easier IMO.

The wing has a bend from the middle then another further along so a straight spar will not work. That is why I may try and form the spar into the wing with epoxy and carbon.
