Thx for the tip, Peter!

I found out the bolts are 'normal' M3's and I bought some longer ones.
With the X-mount adapters everything lines up nice:

And all the secret builds of this frame!

I just cut the booms to 37.5 cm.
Tomorrow I can attach the arms with motors.
Where do you have the esc's?

Thx for the tip.
I changed them. Propellor must point up?

This is the frame with cut booms.
Motor to motor is about 80cm / 31 inch.

The wire just reach the center:

I measured mine at 83.5 cm.
You didn't cut the booms back?
I needed to or I had to lengthen my motor leads.
These iPower 2814Q motors have long leads, so hopefully I can connect them like this.

Where did you put the esc's?
I'd like to keep all screws free, so I can remove / adjust the arms without removing the esc's.

I was planning on making the arms removable, but with the landing gear rotated between the arms, it is quit compact already.
The flexacopter mounts only need the outer screws loosened, I believe.
I would have to loosen all 24 screws, which is hard with the FC and battery cage on.

Think i cut my booms around 30cm each. My ESCīs are mounted under the bottom plate. Will get a pic of it tonight.

I am still waiting on parts but I came across a nice gimbal for a good price.
It fits really nicely.
For now I won't be using the pan axis.

I flashed the ESC's:

and I started in the power board.
The board I got from Ebay was too small (diameter) so I cut my own:

Wish me lucking connecting the motors ;-)

I have dropped the idea of the power board.
It was getting too heavy.
Coming week I will solder a power spider instead.

This is how it looks now:

no updates.
I am waiting on my batteries and I am working on the power distribution.
The board was too heavy, so I am going for a wired spider to supply power to the esc's, bec and leds.

The leds are awesome! :-)
They are 6 x 1 Watt leds on the motor mount.
I have tested them on 200ma and they are really bright.
When the power distribution is on, I will post more pics.

<edit>
Leds working on the FC:
Led test for hexacopter (0 min 8 sec)

This is on just 60-70% brightness ;-)

first test flight:
first flight of unrealistic's hexa. (0 min 46 sec)

This was with the Black Vortex but I didn't like it.
I had the Naza on my F450 so I wanted to try that.
This worked really nice!
Naza on Hexorcism 600 (1 min 33 sec)

I think I am going to sell my Black Vortex board.
The PID tuning is difficult without good flight experience and I don't want to crash the hexa beacuse of this.
