On Hobby King the reckon the DT700 will produce 900g of thrust using upto a 11" prop. Does anyone have any experience with this motor or have any suggestions what I should use?

Also what about the other items I'm looking to purchase do these seem correct?

I use the dt750 motors with 10x4.7 props. I have 8 and they all work fine. great power and efficiency. Your list looks fine. you might want to add some wire and some connectors for your batteries. you should use 20 gauge from esc to motor and 14 from battery to escs. You'll also need a prop balancer. Those 10x6 props do not come well balanced you should get 10x4.7 props I use apc. I don't think hk has 10x4.7s. If you look through my other posts you'll see some of builds with the dt750s and some videos of fpv flights.

Hmmm, you now have me thinking about going for the DT750 now as the price is the same, what do you think what size battery do you use with these?

So I think I'm going to get te DT750's now do you think this Lipo will still be powerful enough?

From my calculations I should get 7 mins of flight from it but I will need to upgrade the current ESC I'm looking at to 20amp

I get about 9 minutes from a 2200mah in hover, I also use that same 3000 ocassionaly and get about 11 min hover and 8 min fpv flight. The 18 amp esc is fine. I actually use the plush 12 amp. The dt750 wont pull more than 13 amps at full throttle with a 10x4.7 and the plush 12 can handle 15amp burst, and I never use full throttle.

Perfect, than I will stick with that battery and ESC combination, does anyone know which ESC extension cables I should use?
