Using multiple TX and RX video units for HD video

Has anyone tried using multiple tx units to move the 3 video composites links of HD component video down to the the ground? It seems you could use 3 of the same brand and frequency but each on different channels. May still be some issue but I wanted to see if anyone has tried it?

Yes, long time ago.
The chroma channels pass, but luminance fails due to too much bandwidth.
