One with the fittings went for $455. Won't be long before these rare kits are going for over $500. FrankG should remake this kit and the 42' Corvette. Each would have to sell in the $400 to $500 range new. Pete

Maybe if the Corvette would be put back into production, it could be re-scaled to 1" - 1', which would make it a 42" model. The 48 " length, while impressive, makes it an odd scale of 1.142" per foot, which would make it harder to find fittings. If there might be any copyright issues (oooh, that "C" word!) the Express Cruiser and a Commander were built on the same hull, so a redesign of the cabin to either configuration would essentially make it a new design. Just sayin' . . .

I forgot that Dumas has the CC rights now at least for the runabouts. Don't know if that includes the big cruisers or not. There was a guy who started to do a 63' kit back a couple years ago but I haven't ever heard a lot about it. I guess the copyright would be a problem. Pete
