HoverThings FPV frame GPS 25 knot winds (0 min 32 sec)

Here's mine, Naza Flight Controller, 800mw 900mhz video TX (overkill), Spektrum AR7000+satellite, 500mah pack for video, 2200mah pack for flight pack, Fat Shark (basic) goggles. Omnidirectional antennas (rubber ducky). On the 2nd or 3rd pack my video starts to get choppy so I think I need a larger video pack. I was flying a WooKong but I don't need GPS for FPV so I removed it and went back to a Naza.

Before you ask for a carbon frame, it's an early prototype, see how the protector plate looks different. I have not gotten my hands on more of the material yet I am still testing it to see if it causes any problems with FPV but so far no issues at all.

Tom, that carbon frame does look nice. Is it really CF or G10 with a CF look? Either way...I still like the red frames for finding downed aircraft.

Hey Tom, nice flying! Glad to see you get a chance to get out and fly. I can't believe you stand up flying FPV. I lean all over the place when I fly so I decided I needed to sit down for FPV flights. LOS I do standing up, just not FPV... especially with goggles on

It is a G10 laminate with a thing CF top and bottom layer. Not enough to bother radio signals, but it is stiffer and a little lighter.

I am trying to get this stuff for a reasonable price. When I do I'll offer them but it's going to be awhile as I am not having good luck getting it here in the US.

I used to sit down but I would occasionally get radio lockouts... so standing was a better option. I admit I do tend to duck when I hear it fly by

LOL...yeah. I always get nervous hearing it nearby, but not being able to see it with the goggles on. Of course I can see where it is through the goggles, but it always says closer than it looks. Hmmmm...Warning: Objects in goggles are closer than they appear???

When I first started, hearing it was really throwing me off. Now, it doesn't affect me at all. Sometimes, I'll come zipping over my head about 5 feet up. I do have to sit down though when flying through the goggles. I'd face plant if I tried to stand up flying FPV.

I still turn my head when trying to fly around corners. I can't help it.
