Need a little help Byron F-16
I restored Byron f-16 put a os 91 in her
had a os 77
made a starter wand with 1/2" socket and slip clutch to turn the engine over
have a double nut on the crank shaft
try to fire it up tonight turn over a few time and the safety nut unscrewed
is this normal to use the nut to turn engine over
am I missing something that would go on the crank or something?
also if any one has any pictures of a starter wand for this jet
and a pic of any thing that is mounted on fan / crank

yes, that is normal. loctite the nut and let it dry. a lot of times we would have to loosen the glow plug to get it to spin , then retighten the plug. use forceps on your fuel lines or the engine will flood and makes it harder.
on two of my f-16's i actually rotated the motor to the upright position to make the staring procedure easier.
