Y6 CarbonFiber frame (32cm M2M)

I've been developing a CF Y6 frame for a science project, and I'm now selling the first prototype.
Designed for this motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idproduct=6547
Speedcontroller: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=4204
More info: http://translate.google.se/translate...D3%26t%3D57506
The site is in swedish but Google Translate works perfectly.

This frame has not been flight-tested, but everything should fit.
Only the CF for it cost me about $100 så perhaps $130-140 is a good price?

Have a good one!

The new one I'm designing is a lot lighter, but else it looks about the same.
Why a tail servo? A Y6 uses the different layers of propellers to yaw.

it is much more stable , you can use a spare gyro with head lock to keep the tail locked , also the double motor seup means more places to fail, and more blades to balance, plus the air flow does not like to be forced through 2 props, it is better all around plus more fly time ,less weight same frame and a T seup vs Y setup is much more stable 90 degree is optimal for most fc boards

I'm sorry, but I don't agreed there. The Y6 frame is the perfect redundancy frame. If one motor fails it can still fly and land.
Agreed that there are more places that can fail but and that the air doesn't like begin forced through two propellers.
But just a tri-frame does not have this redundancy and if it fails all the equipment we have on it will crash with it.

When it comes to shapes, every shape is just as stable (within boundaries) as long as you mix the motor signals correctly.

But it's a 2 sided coin. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

No one who'd like to have this little fly?
If the price is to steep, I'm sure an arrangement can be made.
