What can I say.....
I finally have her ready for casting!  I had some issues during painting, and I sanded thru the glass in a couple of places and causing me some grief! That's all behind me, so I hope to sort out the splitter board and do the casting over the weekend. I do have a concern... On the "flat edges" I may have some minuscule negative planes that may be problematic, but I think she's good to go! We'll see!

Thanks guys!
I hope it goes to plan...  The next few steps will determine the final outcome as the splitting line is crucial. Hopefully I don't have any twist on the plug as this effects the vertical planes in the nose area. Today I managed to make the splitting board and cut the plug outline. Spooged in the over cut area to level it out with the board. More therapeutic sanding tomorrow!  It's raining cats and dogs here!

The fuz looks like it lends itself to be made in two parts similar to some of the rcrcm gliders, Beautiful shape I have to say. P.s it's also pissing down here too ! only 3 weeks to the Lundy Trip |
