What kind of glider are you looking to build? Are you looking for free plans, or just for plans?

There are not a lot of free plans out there, but there are some. Some that come to mind are the Crimson (https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1236486) and the Mimi (https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=840763). There are some others around the web, but not many good ones.

If you're willing to pay a little bit, check out the RCM plans service: http://rcmplans.com/. They have a lot of classic glider plans available, typically priced between $12 and $20. I hear they can be a little slow, so expect about 4 weeks for delivery.

Flying Models, Model Aviation and Model Airplane News have planes services also. FM and MA probably have a bigger selection.
FM and MAN have thinned the collection they have on the web site.
I believe that Bill Northrop still offers the Model Builder plans.
There are a couple of English sites that offer plans also.

Another source is at www.flyrc.com, under the store tab. They have a lot of the English plans listed for sale, including vintage.

It really doesn't matter if it's a pure glider or a powered glider plan. If it's a pure glider plan, cut off the nose, add a fire wall and an electric motor power package. It's very easy and fun to do. Lot's of guys here will help you do that. I've got a whole collection of noses I've cut off gliders to add motors.

Just be sure that where ever you get your plans from that they are the current "owner" of the rights to produce the plans and or kits for the design. Some companies really take offense at people selling plans that they own the rights to.

We had some plans posted on our website that caused quite a stink and we were forced to take them down or face legal action. I know it sucks, but there are people out there that will do anything to protect the to make a profit.
