New Product

Fosa Lift

G'day all.
I have been waiting for a while since I sold my Fosa last year........
She is ready to fly and hope to get out before the weekend to get her in the air!

I will post about the build soon but in the meantime here are some pic's.

Cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

What kind of battery are you using? I see the MKS servos in the build and your RCG ID but didn't see a regulator. Are you using one?

I have almost the same setup in my Cyril and love it. Just interested in the >6v discussion.

Thanks,

Sean

Hey Sean,
The Battery is a 4 cell 1500mah Elite.

I saw one of these at Bob's (Soaring USA) a few months ago and thought it was a beauty, these pictures just reinforce what I remember. Just amazing what we have an hour's drive away, life is good.

So what is the difference between the Fosa and the Fosa Lift. Airfoil, Span, Cord...?

The Lift is essentially a scaled-up Fosa. Wing and tails have more chord, more span. Airfoil looks to be ever so slightly more undercambered. Longer fuse, more ballast capacity. Hope to have mine flying in a week or so for some real comparisons.

Way cool! I guess it has about 2" increased span over the Fosa. Did you increase the flap wiper angle? Be interesting to hear how the Lift version compares to it's brother.

I did, by a few degrees. With the change, it has about 55-60 degrees flap throw. Just have to finish the fuse up and make the wiring harness.
