I am proud to introduce the Vtail by DiaLFonZo & Bledi.
This is born by an idea of Bledi that he already fly.
He contact me to make a frame that would integrate that Vtail setup into a complete
already made frame.

After many hour of design the frame was born...!!
It will be in 2 size version
400mm and 500mm motor to motor size.
The one i cut is the 500mm size

I cut the first prototype yesterday (26-03-2012) and.. i LOVE the frame.

With this mix you can't go wrong with the kk

Mine is finally up and running with the kk2... just some minor tweaking now...had to change some very random things to get a good mix....

again my setup is a kk2 with 750 kv motors 10x4.7 props, and 3 cell battery on the 400 frame...hovers around 55% throttle...this may save some people some trouble if they have a similar setup..

So initial changes... flip all prop/motors directions to (from looking over head) M1 front left is CCW, M2 front right is CW, M3 rear left is CW, and M4 rear right is CCW.

set the kk2 to VTail.. calibrate your sensors... and start with the mixer settings

CH1:

Throttle: 100
Aileron: -100
Elevator: 100
Rudder: -40
Offset: 0

CH2:

Throttle: 100
Aileron: 100
Elevator: 100
Rudder: 40
Offset: 0

CH3:

Throttle: 95
Aileron: 0
Elevator: -100
Rudder: 100
Offset: 0

CH4:

Throttle: 95
Aileron: 0
Elevator: -100
Rudder: -100
Offset: 0

Now some rough PI values (mainly just a starting point)

Roll:

I didn't fly it myself yet.
Bledi told me that Y4 setup work good.
Also in multiwii 2.0 there is vtail config

I'm currently the owner of the very first prototype of this frame. I just had a 5 minutes flight with it outside using kda motors, rushduino fc and citrus imu. Wow, that copter is a man !
Its a big boy, with a lot, i mean a big big bunch of yaw authority ! I will work with dialfonzo to give him more details, but, this thing is great !

Now I thought your other frames were great this one takes the cake. I think i just found my next build . I would love to get one of these from you as fast as possible. I have a show I am going to next month and would love to show and fly something like this there.

Bledi, yes this is a great frame design.

Was totally thinking that when I saw the frame. Lol...
I thought my vario copter was cool and was going to be one of my last builds for awhile then you guys came out with this frame I am totally stoke about this one.
