I still don't know if it's a FC issue (using a Naze32 that doesn't seem to like vtails), but just something to keep in mind. I've got 5030 x 3 blade props on the way at the suggestion of my LHS owner and a loaned CC board to try yet, but it's pouring rain here and I have no safe indoor testing area so I'm on hold until tomorrow.

Tried the Y4 config today, other than a little bit of excitement when the yaw needed to be reversed to stop it spinning in circles, no difference, still won't get off the ground. New props didn't arrive yet, hopefully Monday.

Tried a number of different PID settings today, both high and low. No change, still can't get the mini off the ground. I have found another possibility for a reason... I have read (in another thread here on rcg) that prop savers (as opposed to prop adapters) produce a lot of vibration. That's what I've got on this since they came with the motors and they seemed lighter than adapters would be. Any opinions on this? Should I try and find 2mm prop adapters?

If your prop adaptor have the right center to fit your prop and the oring is tight the vibration should be very minimal.

The prop saver can extend the lenght of shaft and add vibration.

If they are the same motors an drops I am thinking of, can you just press fit the props onto the motor shafts? I did that on my last mini, worked great.
