This year we're rolling down on Friday as my buddy has a weird work schedule, Friday's and Sunday's off so I'll have to stop by and see you this year and introduce myself.
The last time that I hit the show on a Friday I thought that the place might be a little slow but was I surprised! Must have been another 10,000 people had the same idea!
Afterwards it's gotten to be a tradition for us to hit Tony Packo's/Packo's at the Park for a meal before hitting the road back home. If you're looking for a great meal with what little money that you've got left from the show, I highly recommend the place.

Yeah. There was a big family feud going on and the operations was sold to a guy who owns a bunch of Burger King's in the Toledo area but Packo's will be the same as one of the boys will be running the show. I saw an article on it in one of the Detroit newspapers.

Lodging

Don't pay full price for hotels. Go to priceline.com and name your price and star rating. I got a room at Holiday Inn Express in Perrysburg for $50 a night. That leaves more to spend at the show.

Good to see that Packo's hasn't changed as when someone else comes in and takes over, usually a lot of quality goes down down the crapper but keeping one of Tony's kids running operations on a daily basis should keep things as usual.
It was a nasty feud from what I read as some money was given to the Widow Packo for upkeep to her home and the other kids got mad as the funds were taken from the business. I like the Front and Consault Street store better as it's a place where you walk in and they make you feel like they've known you forever. P@TP is walking distance close from the SeaGate but feels more upscale/Yuppie to me.

My office is located across the street from the Seagate center so if you have any questions about parking/food/etc in the local area I would be glad to help. I would suggest checking out the Blarney for some decent food along with Packo's. We also have a couple new restaurants in the area that are just a block or two from the seagate center.

As far as vendors go I am really into the multi-rotor stuff so if you are going to have frames, kits, esc's, motors, FC, etc.. I would be interested in finding that out ahead of time.
