X45WL continuing evolution
Have had about 6 flights now - think it is still too nose heavy. Have had some wonderful crashes. During the last flight the nuts and bolts holding the motor on vibrated off and you could hear them getting hit by the prop. So based on someone else's idea I used a bit of hard foam and zip ties to mount the motor. Maybe in the next crash some of that energy will be absorbed by the foam.
Beat up but still flying. Flies a little fast for me - easy to let it get too far away. |
