You're right about Gorilla glue. I used about 4 times as much as I should have and had to keep scooping excess off as it expanded. You could definitely cause damage in a confined space. I've done it in noses before and do like making a very strong nose and a secure custom fitted hole for the battery. I f anyone wants to try it use only enough to wet the inside of the nose. It easily expands by a factor of 10.

Flew again yesterday in a bit more wind (12 mph) and despite the really thin wings the 1.4 doesn't seem as fast as the 1.2. I think it will benefit from ballast. The wings are pretty flexy so it should be interesting loaded up

Beware of hot or even warm cars with this plane! It was in the low 60s here and I left the windows open in my car at work, but I still got a twist in my fuse so the stab's not level anymore. I'll have to reheat it (possibly in the car) to straighten it out again.

Yes, documentation is a bit lacking. I was planning on starting at the center of the spar.

I will buy one for a spare set of LT wings.
If there are any Jart Lovers out there, here is a comparison of the wings:

Root profile and joiner and incidence pin locations all match the Jart wing exactly, The span and planform are almost identical with a slight difference near the tip.

Wing construction is much lighter with and does not have the full sheeting between the wing root and beginning of the aileron. The wing seems about as rigid in torsion. I still doubt the wing will not stand up to the abuse my original Jart Wings took. I may fully sheet it.

GREG, although this has nothing to do with this thread, and enough that you're from California, I can say, FREEDOM AR1 model, because I'm about, of enprender assembly from flat, I can say about this already legendary missile, thank you,

Frank flies the heck out of his speedo. He is up flying when most of us are waiting for better conditions. This is why I bought one.
