wow looks fantastic! what do you use to mask the areas you don't want covered? I've tried the blue tape, low tack blue tape, and frog tape. they all seem to peel off the paint when i pull the mask off.

TESTORS is foam safe, and very good. its very lightweight and doesnt eat foam. i used to use certain colors of rustoleum, but its very heavy. some of their colors eat foam and some dont. i tried krylon fusion, but that paint was crap. very thin & had some chemical that ran like water. testors usually covers in one layer and adds hardly any weight.

me too.. paint keeps peeling off with blue tape. even when I remove some of tackiness putting tape on clothes or carpet first... the paint looks great.. i have used denatured alcohol and it still peels off.. trying sanding and denautured alcohol next...any help would be appreciated.

Try frisket film. Look up the term on google, there are various sources. I used it all the time in my plastic model building years.

It's a very low tack film that can easily be cut and is so thin (much thinner than tape), that it leaves perfectly straight demarcation lines between colours.

Works like a charm.
