Progress on the Troy's twin screw boat

I got the shear clamp strips in, and re block sanded the hull sides. I like to install them BEFORE starting on hull layout, as this helps hold the hull in shape. It also makes it easier to block sand the top edge of the hull, so it is ready for the deck. Running gear layout is next. When I get more done, I will post some more photo's. CB

Say..what glue is best for gluing the resign bulwarks to the styrene deck?

Thanks Troy. I wonder what the difference is between ZAP CA and Gorilla CA? Aren't all CA's the same?

The makers and marketers would have you believe that NO they are not.

In my experience, the cheap CA glues hold just as well as the deluxe name brands.

CA Glues

There are two types, regular CA, and the ones that they add a rubber flex agent to. This makes them less brittle, and more able to flex and resist a hard impact. GORRILLA CA, has a rubber flex agent added, and we have never had a problem with any boat we have used it on. CB

Watching the power this has was scary! He may have a video of it running. His wiring shows a lot of patience. You guys created a nice little craft.
