Let us know when you have it. We are here to help if needed.

Yeah, i ordered it now in Austria. At the begin of Feb my Hurricane 8S will be at home.
Ready to be airborne (with full service at stratair). So I also order fine weather for first flight in Feb.

I just picked up my new Hurricane today. Wow, this model is beautifully done!
I got their new internal linkage system for a nice, clean wing. It appears to be very well engineered and very similar to what Muller is doing on the Egita.
It came with linkages done and servo trays installed. Should go together very quickly. The V-tails are very light and strong with a hefty carbon joiner.

Wow Lenny!
This is probably the best model on market now for HV power train.
Beauty!

Wooooooooowwww...niceeeee!!!

I am expecting mine around end December.
It is a beauty.
I asked for the push/ pull too...not the RDS and they will install the servos too.
I thought its better so as not to have to worry about build issues.
These guys are pros.
The waiting time has almost put me off...like with the Henseleit helicopter...I waited 18 months for that but now I think the wait is worth it...
Lenny please put some more pictures....I need something to cheer me up...

Definitely my plane for 2013. This years budget has allready been killed . Is that black or sight carbon (on the wing) Lenny? Which powertrain will you install?

Why the hell they don't include the 200€ for LDS in the whopping 1700€ for the plane?! What the F*.

The fuselage and wing bottom are both naked carbon.

I haven't decided on the power setup yet, but I'm thinking it will be 10S.
I tried fitting two 5S-2200 packs in there and they fit easily.

Congrats - you made a good choice!
8s 3300 is the maximum in terms of Wh you can squeeze in. So you may consider the recommended 8s / Neu 1515 combo instead of 10s 2200. With a GM 18x23 you can push her to >8KW

10S Setup is a nice idea. U dont need the expensive YGE 200 then. A Phasor 2035/2100 should be fine with 10S and a GM 18x21 like dick flies it in his Avionik. Should be a sufficient setup which is light at the same time and not so problematic like the Neu 1515 at 8kw.

Thanks.
I know that an 8S setup is what has been done before and appears to work well. I will consider it too, but 8KW on an 8S setup will take about 285A.
That's more than I'm comfortable pushing through an ICE 160 controller. Going to a 10S setup will buy some more current headroom for the same power level.
I was hoping to use some of my 10S F5B packs, but they're a bit too big, so tandem packs would be needed.

Wings are super stiff and empty weight of the model is only 58.25 oz.
