What impact does lead laying around on the ground have on the enviroment?

Just wondering since the lead came from the ground to begin with.

Out of Time
I don't know why some people are treating this as if it's a new thing, because it's not.

This trial balloon has been floated several times in the past and always shot down, BUT this time around, it's a bit more dangerous because of the power that Obama has been giving unelected agency heads to regulate pretty much everything they want to.

So be wary, and hope they don't get to do it this time around, but know that they will keep trying.
Our only solution to this "problem" as well as for many, many other problems that citizens shouldn't have to deal with is to vote Obama and every Democrat out of office this November. Then we can fire all these Progressive power hungry pissants and push the "reset" button on the Constitution.

Gun control is not that tough. Practice practice practice, not too tight a grip, exhale lightly before squeezing the trigger.

Actually, they're claiming that uncollected carcasses are contaminated with lead and that is passed on to the animals that eat it. Quite a stretch, considering that the majority of hunters are responsible and make every effort to collect what they shoot. Not to mention that lead is not likely to break down and disperse throughout the carcass of a dead critter

Of course lead is bad news. For instance, most duck hunters gave up lead shot decades ago. I think it's been banned for use in wetlands for ages.

Uranium comes from the ground also, though I don't recommend you let your kids play with it in the sand box or strew it all over the watershed.
