Hobby Fever

Anybody have any experience ordering from Hobby Fever in Massachusetts? I ordered two rudder control arms from them, online, on March 6. As of today (8 days later) all their website says about my order is "Pending." Their website has no means of contacting them other than phone, which I just called. It rang 15 times then hung up. Coulda ordered my stuff from England and had it by now.

Tim, I do not use Paypal, just Amex. Thanks for the other RCGroups thread. Looks like that guy's stuff was shipped but took too long in the USPSnail mail. Mine apparently has not even been shipped, so the bad is still on Hobby Fever.

Hopefully someone will respond...
The physical store shown in yelp is VERY small, theres No way they could stock all the items they list in that building, maybe they have storage elsewhere or they even have to order it and get it from china before they can ship to you...
Add ten days easy for the trip from asia ...
the other day I dealt with a place in Georgia, but the boss ( who as actually handling their screw up ) was in Chicago so it was very slow going.

Today I am back from vacation 3/20-today. ONE (not 2 as ordered) rudder control arm from HV was in the mail pile. So I am half-happy now.

there are a bunch of hobby shops that are set up like this one, they offer the sale through their website but it is sent from a wholesaler like a co-op. That may be the issue, when they have a brick & mortar store it listed as not available ON LINE...just saying

Thats why I appreciate outfits like Harbor Models, I can call and get either dave or Nick and find out NOW if they have what I want, and man, they get it in the mail FAST.
