For Sale

Used Dynamax fan w/Neu 1915/1Y Motor

For sale, single used Dynamax fan with Neu 1915/1Y motor. This combo runs very smooth and produces 16-17 lbs of thrust on 12S drawing around 120A. Great power in a light package. The Dynamax is also very forgiving to various exit dias vs some of the other high end fans on the market.

Today, if you were able to get them all, it would cost $670 to assemble this fan from aquiring the parts shown in the picture (I paid slightly more a year ago before assembly).

Here's a clip of this fan flying my 100" long F-104 which weighs 22 lbs and has 14" wide wing panels. ;-)

Avonds F-104 from Friday at E-Jets 2011 (3 min 52 sec)

It had enough power to take off from grass as well....I can only imagine how impressive this fan would be an something like a Yellow Aircraft Starfire.

Asking $500 inc shipping and insurance.

Cannot believe not one reply. This is a fantastic setup. I have a EJF adapter and I WILL get it to work, but this is a great set up. I will build one for sure.

If I wasn't such a bottom feeder, I would put in a bid for this.

I'd take $500 shipped in the US if someone is interested. Considering you can now get this fan commercially with the same motor and a castle 160HV ESC (retail $270) for $1100+shipping, I think mine is priced pretty fair.

F-104

Wow, that bird looked really good in the air. Outstanding landing. Price is fair for the fan considering the motor alone with cost you $280 or so. Plus the fan and parts for conversion.

Good luck with your sale. Just wondering what your pulling in the 104 now?
