Scuppers coming? Might flood the deck otherwise - Capt Ron thinks!

Scuppers will be evaluated after some more testing at the final W/L. Plan to use round tube style if necessary.

Got the boat in the water today and did a full test of the drive system. All worked out fine. Motors remained cool even after 15 min. of forward and back throttle work. Decks stayed dry except for extreme backing down. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance and love the way a 55 # model handles in the water...
Next details will be fendering small parts and lights.....No idea what to do with the winch yet.....

Charlie, Just joking around too...

Troy,

Yep, Greer is my favorite place to trial the boats. Shallow enough to wade out when I have a problem. I did hit that submerged rock closest to the street though. It was very murky and was unable to see it.....I miss our tug meets at that lake....

Took the tug to Cerritos Regional and ran with my dad (lobster boat) and uncle (lifeguard). Good family fun! Iphone photos are a bit blown out.....
