Thanks,

Finally caught up with the pictures. Cabin detail started yesterday. Have the floor and some wood details in. Still need electronics, wires, table, charts, chair, etc.....
Also did a breakaway mast out of resin. Hope to have spreader and navigation lights wired up there. Still waiting on the tiny brass door hinges so I can get the structure painted...

Motors are the large Pittman's painted CAT yellow. I believe they are 3700 RPM at 12 volts. Just try to stop them with your finger.... I know a couple other guys could give you actual specs.

Oh, okay. The brush holders threw me, as they look like the ones on my Astroflight motors.

I really like that. It looks really sharp. I'm needing to build a tug one of these days.

Lots of work on the wheelhouse this week. Went with a dull, muted mustard color for the accent. It's from a railroad company and works great with the theme. Railings, wheels and door hinges are done. I also have the "smoke BBQ" in place behind the pilot house. Open up the hinged blue plex lid, put some incense in, light it and activate the smoke fan for a light, realistic exhaust. Already tried it out and it is very convincing.

Some more progress...Made the mast which is ready for LED's, started on the upper station and added grip tape, build a new pivoting mast base. Threw in the crew and some props for fun. I'm really enjoying this 1:12 scale stuff.
