Been a while since i made a Blog Update and a lot has happened in thge past several months.

Of course i have designed a lot of new planes. Some are ready to show off, some aren't.

Sales of my kits has been moving along. I have shipped over 200 kits now. A big thanks to my friends Ken and Stephen for helping me make that happen.

My buddy Ken along with my other flying buddies, Don and Mike have started a new company geared towards supplying FFF style foam with no skin, waves, or blue dye! Their new company is www.modelplanefoam.com. and they should be selling foam very soon.

This of course means that i will no longer be offering the pink or blue kits. I know you guys are going to be disappointed with only having white foam, but i think we will be able to muddle through.

I am now selling the Enterprise-D, Voyager, Harrier, Cylon, and the New version of the Imperial Star Destroyer.

The Star Destroyer and Cylon look amazing with the skins. I really like what I did to fix up the Star Destroyer design. Solved a lot of the things i didn't like about the original.

A couple of new designs i have been working on.

The Buck Rogers Starfighter from the 80's TV series. I am pretty excited about this one. I think it is going to be a great flyer.

The next one i have been working on is the Firefly Serenity from the TV series and Movie. I always loved the show and i am pretty sure i can work this one out to be cool.

Over the winter I spent most of my time trying to keep up with the orders for kits and my regular job. But i did acquire a few new planes too.. actually bought some!

There was a great deal for a F4U Corsair kit at Hobby-lobby. I just got the maiden in this weekend. I have to say that the supplied motor is KILLER! $50 for the kit and it was well worth it. Of course it needs a little tweaking. The horizontal stabilizer ripped in half under a medium speed pass and the ailerons are pretty sloppy. All in a days work to fix it up.

I also picked up the HobbyKing Edge 540 Micro. Beautiful micro Receiver ready plane. Got a couple flights in this weekend on it and i am digging it for sure!

The last thing i got was a new Helicopter. I have been a helo pilot for a long time but every time i get one, i end up selling it because i hate repairing helicopters!!! Well the Blade MCPx is an amazing little bird. Super durable., very maneuverable, and eventually i will be able to fly it upside down!

I have some new ideas for planes that i am working on right now. Including some boring , normal planes But i am definitely itching to get some building done!!!

I will be posting the plans in a couple days. I need to tweak a few things before i post them. Stay tuned to the build thread for updates.

Any update on the Firefly project progress?

It is on the short list for building this season. Right along side the X-Wing, Tron Lightship, and a few others.
