D.I.Y BL Baja

Hi all!
I have a HPI Baja and the motor just got some water on the head when it was hot as hell and it cracked beyond repair.
All my other cars is brushless and I have some years behind my name with brushless setups but only on 1/10 and 1/8 scale.
I have a TurnigyPro Comp bl motor with the following specs:
56mm dia and 92mm long. 780kv. Max amp draw is 200A . Can take up to 37v and is rated at 6000w max. It has a 8mm shaft.
I want to run it on 6s lipo with a Mamba Monster esc and that will give me the following:
2664Watt on 6s and 120A continious and max of 17316rpm free running.
Do you guys think this will be a good combo? It doesnt have to be faster than the 23cc gasser but I just dont want to burn any thing. I will gear it down for 30mph.

It looks to be the same Kv that Castle provides for their 1/5th setup, so looks spot on to me.

I have been looking at that motor, the only thing that worries me is the Mamba Monster esc. Will it handle 120A continious on 6s. That will give me 2.6kw and will this be enough? Say the motor wants more amps? Maybe I will install a 120A fuse to protect my esc?! What will be a reasonable size pinion to install for about 30mph?
