Like Father, Like Daughter..Kaley's first flight..

Earlier the morning Randy Keldsen and his daughter Kaley came out to my place with a GWS Tiger Moth, a trainer cord and 4 batteries..Kaley has been wanting to try R/C and today was perfect with no wind and a place to fly with the sun to our back..

I will post a couple of photos of the gala event...

Things went pretty well, but there were a couple moments of apprehention as the little Moth came pretty close to the ground..
But old Dad saved the day....After all, isn't that what Dads are for anyway..LOL

And lastly, a photo of the Moth doing whan it does best...Slow, solid, and graceful flight...
Kaley did surprisingly well for the first time out..By the 4th flight she was flying almost without instruction..
Congratulation Kaley...

Buddy box

Four of my five kids are in a buddy box training. One 10 one 8 two 7 (yes twins) We have been flying a GWS slow stick. Today we tried a GEOBAT. Went really good. Ended the day with no broken parts. Here is a tread for a geobat. Good plane for a starter plane. Oh kid five is only 16 months. I will wait till she is aleast 2. Three of the four flying are girls. *You go girl*
