Help!
Turnigy Receiver Controlled Switch
Has anyone got the circuit diagram for successfully wiring up this switch, i wish to use it in a Electric trainer with a simple front landing light which i wish to switch on when landing.
I want to use a seperate lipo (ie 7.4v 2s to power a simple bulb from a halogen torch), i am using a spektrum 6i with a Orange 6 channel Rx. I have experimented with various circuits but no luck. |

You should try a led light set from RCLander. You get a large bright white landing light, two LEDs for the wing tips, one red and one green, a rear running light, and a small circuit board which just plugs into your gear channel. Flip your gear switch and the lights come on. The wing tip light can be made to blink or not.
All this for about $12.00 Here is a set I put on a Cub. |

When you spend enough time stumbling around in a field of rocks, it is surprising when some of them turn in diamonds later. :>)
Some of the things done in robotics (I don't do it) are pretty amazing and invite being used in RC flight also. They are using some servos over there that represent investments that some of don't have in our entire hangers. But it goes to getting specific things that appeared un-doable done and that is the important thing. And I also have a certain amount of disdain for the Chinese Cheap Crap Poorly Done Copies mafia and the amount of business they are getting without having earned the right to the market. My feeling is that if you want to mess around in hobby venues and sell to adults having fun, you need to take it seriously and do it well! Jack |
